white cs4 icons

Over the next few months I’ll be writ­ing a vari­ety of posts detail­ing the little tips & tricks and hacks that I use every­day in OS X. Today I’m shar­ing the icons that I cre­ated for CS4.

I was sick of see­ing all those col­ours down in my Dock and decided to do some­thing about it. As the Adobe typeface Gauge used in the ori­ginal icons is not avail­able, I have vec­tor­ized the let­ters and images by hand for the best match. Note that the type and images in these icons are not 100% black, but are slightly trans­par­ent like the ori­gin­als. Unfor­tu­nately the level of detail is quite hard to see in any­thing other than the 512x512 .png’s.
